Favourite local pub. Excellent Thai food upstairs. My future husband (shhh, he doesn't know yet), aka Jenson Button, has been known to frequent this pub.

Anglesea Arms

I love this pub, in South Kensington.

We went on a sunday night for dinner, in the restaurant at the back. There were around 8 of us, and we had a table which was perfectly nestled into an alcove. The food was delicious (pints of prawns! yum!), and the atmosphere really lovely. They have antique convex mirrors, and dark wood and leather furniture. The bar was full, and people were hanging out in the front courtyard and out on the street - one of my favourite things about London pubs. It has white walls and lots of hanging flower baskets.

Lovely classic English pub, just around the corner from Holland Park tube. There's a really nice outdoor section, where you can relax in the sun into the evening.

Summer Afternoons in Belgravia

This is the perfect pub for a long lunch in the sun. I had the perfect pie, and my friend had a sunday lamb roast. Delicious and stylish.

Pub Club

Some pubs I've been to recently:

The Windsor Castle. Great beer garden, low ceilings, proper English pub. Named because you used to be able to see Windsor Castle from the windows upstairs. It's in Notting Hill, near Holland Park.

The Angelic. High ceilings, long bar, tall glass windows, wooden benches. I went on a date here, and it was perfect... It's in Angel.

The Raven. Friendly, relaxed, good outdoor section. Good little local pub. At Stamford Brook.
