This is an incredibly beautiful and precious cashmere shawl owned by my French mum. It was her grandmother's and it's all hand-embroidered. I love the box it came in. It's from Kashmir and it's very old.

I really like the photographs over at La Porte Rouge. I love the moodiness of the animals in the snow, and in the dark stables (above), and the shots of rusty farm equipment (below). Yes, I've always had a strange liking for rust... It amuses and bemuses my friends.
