My favourite quilt: a log-cabin in gorgeous yellows, machine-pieced and hand-quilted by my very clever mother. She knew it was my favourite (I might've dropped a hint or two) and gave it to me for Christmas 2008. It's artfully (ahem) rumpled in these shots.

My mum is an amazing quilter. She's been teaching for many years, and I've always been spoiled for choice with quilts. When I moved to London, I could only carry one over with me - this one. Recently though, a girlfriend moved over and brought me two more in her shipping. Hooray! I'll have to post photos. (Apologies for the poor quality of these. I'll take some better ones.)
