My flattie has this poster. It's wonderfully British! The poster was produced by the Ministry of Information in 1939, as a propaganda tool to comfort and inspire Londoners during the Blitz. One of the things I like about it is that it wasn't designed by a fancy communications agency (as it no doubt would be these days); it was designed by an anonymous civil servant, tasked with the job of creating a slogan to slow the panic during the war.Wednesday, 8 July 2009
